What is the difference between grain and uniform noise?
Film grain simulates the organic texture of analog film with a bell-curve distribution, producing a more natural look. Uniform noise adds completely random pixel variations, creating a harsher digital effect.
What does monochrome noise do?
When monochrome is enabled, the same noise value is applied equally to all color channels (R, G, B), producing grayscale noise. When off, each channel gets independent noise, creating subtle color speckling.
