What is the credit system and how does it work?

BestPNG uses a credit-based system. Each operation consumes credits: background removal costs 1 credit, AI image generation costs 8 credits, and e-commerce try-on images cost 10 credits. Free users get 100 credits per month, and paid plans offer 990 to 5490 credits. You can also purchase credit packs separately.

Is background removal really free?

Yes! Free accounts receive 100 credits per month, and each background removal costs just 1 credit. That means you can remove backgrounds from up to 100 images per month at no cost. You also get unlimited access to our free tools: format conversion, image compression, resizing, and color removal.

What image formats and resolutions are supported?

We support JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC input formats (max 20MB per image). Output formats depend on your plan: Free supports PNG only, Starter adds WebP, Pro adds SVG, and Business supports all formats. Maximum resolution ranges from 1024px (Free) to unlimited (Business).

Can I buy extra credits without upgrading my plan?

Absolutely! We offer three credit packs: 100 credits for $9.90, 500 credits for $39.90, and 2000 credits for $129.90. Purchased credits never expire and can be used alongside your monthly plan credits.

How do I cancel or change my subscription?

You can cancel or change your plan anytime from the billing page in your account settings. Changes take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. If you have questions, contact us at support@bestpng.com.

Can BestPNG create e-commerce product photos?

Yes — that is what the Workspace is built for.
