How does the diff comparison work?
The tool compares every pixel of both images. For each pixel, it calculates the average difference across red, green, and blue channels. Pixels that exceed the sensitivity threshold are highlighted in your chosen color; unchanged pixels are shown dimmed.
What does the sensitivity slider control?
Sensitivity sets the threshold for detecting changes. Lower values (more sensitive) will highlight even subtle differences like JPEG compression artifacts. Higher values only show significant visual changes.
Do the images need to be the same size?
Not necessarily. If the images differ in size, both are scaled to the larger dimension for comparison. For best results, use images of the same resolution.
